"We decided to go for sushi after coming back from a day in Quebec city.
Food - We ordered several rolls, edamae, vegetable gyoza and various pieces of sushi. We were excited that our rolls came on a boat, as this doesn't happen often in Alberta unless you order a set boat meal. Everything was good and the pieces of sushi were generous in size. We definitely left with our bellies full and everything was good but there wasn't anything special about the rolls.
Service - The service was great. We were greeted promptly and staff checked on us frequently.
Atmosphere - Restaurant was cozy and quiet."

It feels like a "hole in the wall" kind of place when you're walking to it at night, but as soon as you step in - it's anything but.
Perfectly dim lighting (not too dark). Cracked glass plating by the booths. Mahogany tables. Nice glassware. The servers were nice and constantly there refilling drinks. But not to the point that it was overbearing.
Menu is easy to follow. They have single and two person 'meal deals'. We opted to choose our own rolls. Had 6 different rolls (a mix of speciality and maki).
My favorite - Pizza and Phoenix. But they were all delicious. It was almost completely packed, but the food came out at a good pace. Right when we finished our appetizer (Salmon Tataki - the ponzu was amazing), they brought out the tray with our sushi.
Loved everything.
Lightly torched scallion on the Phoenix.
Slight crunch inside the Dragon Tear.
Perfect balance on flavors on the Pizza.
Perfect place for a date night, or a friend's meet, or even solo. The price was cheap compared to the quality."
